Snorkeling Adventure
Our last full day we, after much debate, decided to take a boat ride over to Isla Mujeres to snorkel and spend the day. We took a speedboat ride over...
Little did we know we were going to take another boat to the MIDDLE of the ocean to snorkel. I'm gonna keep it short and sweet for those of you with weak stomachs BUT I get sea sick and got sick and bodily functions were involved...its what you're thinking and even worse. If you want details I'll gladly tell you cause you will get a good laugh :)
After the miserable snorkeling adventure we rented a golf cart and rode around the island...it was beautiful!

Honeymoon Pics
We really did not do much outside of our room. We had or could get everything we needed.
me having fun with the rose petals left on the bed
enjoying my Coca Cola Lite
showing off our robes...which we LOVED!
our room service breakfast...we ordered it everyday! The room had a "room service box" where they could put the food in from the outside and we could get in out from the inside...we didn't even have to get up and answer the door for room service!!!
Erik taking a shower! The shower had a window to the bedroom so you could watch tv or watch each other :)
The second day we went down to the pool and got a cabana room but it was SO HOT down there we decided our pool and balcony was better and didn't stay long!
our "honeymoon dinner"...really all they did was put some rose petals on the table
The third day we thought we'd try the beach. BEAUTIFUL but hot and no breeze (like our balcony had) so again we didn't stay too long...
Erik snorkeling a bit
the birds at the resort
hanging out on our balcony
Michael Jackon show which was really good! There were shows or some special event every night but this was the only one we made it too

Tour of our Room #1401 (the best at the resort)
Our room was seriously the BEST!!! It was a corner room and the balcony was double the size of anybody else's and private!
They had this sign on the door welcoming us to our room.
swans on bed
the "private plunge pool"...the best investment we did. We NEVER left our balcony!
our HUGE patio
stocked mini bar...re-stocked daily and all free
the first time I was called Mrs Overby
our indoor/outdoor jacuzzi
the bathroom
the toilet room...only bad thing about the resort...the toilet was behind this glass door that was open on top and bottom and it was all marble...so it echoed BAD everytime we used the toilet

Night in Atlanta
We spent our wedding night in Gville then my parents drove us to Atlanta to spend the night before we flew to Mexico. We took the champagne that we forgot to toast with at the reception. It is my all time favorite! It comes from a winery in southern California called Wilson Creek and its almond champagne...Laura Pop brought it for me since they don't sell it here! Erik discovered he liked champagne!
