Congratulations Class of 2010

This weekend was Albertville's high school graduation. My little cousin graduated and even though the tornado destroyed most of the school graduation was still held on the football field.

We had to bump the time up cause there are still no stadium lights and the sound system was all messed up because well...there was no sound system left in the stadium. I think this pic is sad and happy all at the same time...it shows all the devestation in the background but still how everything's going as planned

Erik's hat was a bit too small for him...

OK this tradition goes way back. Every year as the graduates get their diploma they give the principal something. One year they did pennies, another bouncy balls, my year we stuck on Hello My Name IS tags...this year because of the tornado (twister) the graduates all wore twister board game spinners on the top of their hats and stuck "dots" on Coach Mac

And they're done...

More Tornado Pics

Happy Birthday Megan!!!

Baby Sissur Megan turned 24 this last weekend...I can't believe it...she should still be in high school. We had the annual fish fry for her bday up in Aville. Here she is with her ice cream cake.

Since the whole fam was together we decided to have a tornado drill to see if we would all still fit in our storm pit...we didn't...

Lee took the lantern to the end of the manhole...see the light at the very end...Our storm pit has always been a big hit with new people. Daddy put a big gas tank under the house. You lift the floor up of our end closet and climb down a ladder into it. Then just in case the house fell on top of the trap door there is this manhold you can climb through and come up in the side of the yard!
